Best to arrive in day light than in the dark during autumn/ winter months to locate property and the key pad

"A peaceful place to rest your head."

The location was superb as a place to rest our heads after a wonderful day exploring Hadrian's Wall - exceptionally quiet with very comfortable beds/room. The check-in instructions were very clear. And we enjoyed a great meal at the Boatshed down the road in the evening.

Nothing - just a shame we weren't staying for longer.

"Lovely accommodation and excellent location."

There was no breakfast available, but we rented a fridge for the night which was ideal for us. Lovely walks down by the river and at Allen Banks, and only a 10 minute drive into Hexham. Very peaceful and comfortable.
