Skerrols House

Breakfast was superb. And we particularly liked the smoked salmon/scrambled egg signature dish, plus the fact that one could pick and choose from the various elements of a "full" Scottish breakfast. Black pudding was excellent. Best of all was Tomas's friendly banter and smiles!

We liked everything. Even the fact that we could not have the room intended (because of a building work overrun) did not matter. The room we were given instead was great - and Tomas dealt with the issue with such skill and aplomb that we barely noticed it.

We liked everything about Scerrols House. It was amazing.

There was nothing we didn't like.

What a treat! We needed a break and it surpassed expectations thanks mainly to our hosts, their local knowledge and their warm welcome. Breakfasts were excellent and set us up for a day of exploring all the places we had heard about. Our room was very comfortable with a garden view.

Thomas and Karolina were fantastic hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as it could be.
