Bijou Malthouse

It was a superb little cottage. Exceptionally comfortable we didn't want to leave. Couldn't fault anything about it. We would love to go back.

Sooo comfortable and immaculately clean. There are lots of nice extras such as a decent little coffee machine, beautiful feather pillows and cushions on the bed, USB points in the sockets, a walk-in shower, and use of an extra cabin/chill room with sofas, music, books, and a beautiful view. Host recommended super place for dinner - would highly recommend

Beautiful, self-contained, clean, in a great location and with everything we needed. Perfect hosts - nothing was too much trouble.

Calming and cosy inside, with a gorgeous little terrace and garden outside. It is kitted out for any season. Great use of space and lots of thoughtful little touches. It’s immediately apparent that the lovely hosts love this tiny cottage, and so did I.

I didn’t find anything wrong. I can’t imagine there’s anything that couldn’t be sorted quickly by the hosts

Nothing I didn’t like

This place is an absolute gem if you need some time to yourself to either concentrate on work or to relax. Susie & Roger were great hosts and have everything you could possibly need in place. I would highly recommend.

Everything was just perfect.

A lovely property which was exactly as described. Beautifully designed and decorated, quaint and modern, and spotless inside. Lovely touches with welcome food and drinks provided. The cosy cabin was a welcome spot in the evening too. Walking distance to a lovely pub with an unusual and tasty food selection was a bonus.

An outstanding accommodation for a couple. Having travelled extensively, this is by far the best stay for a few days we have experienced. Our hosts, Susie and Roger made sure everything had been thought of, including a welcome bottle of wine in the lower garden retreat house. The bijou is beautifully decorated, quiet, surprisingly private and has 5 star appointments. Thank you both for such a wonderful stay in a beautiful part of England.
