Bijou Malthouse

Was very cosy. All the amenity’s we needed. Great location. Comfortable bed.

Het is een bijzondere accomodatie. In het hoofdverblijf staat een prima bed met in diezelfde ruimte de keuken. Dus in plaats van een zit-slaapkamer is het een kook-slaapkamer. Aangrenzend een keurige badkamer. Enkele tientallen meters verder, in het eind van de tuin, is een klein huisje dat is ingericht als zitkamer met een comfortabele hoekbank. Hier brachten we onze avonden door. Dit huisje doet ons denken aan het huisje op onze volkstuin, maar wel iets kleiner en (anders dan op de meeste volkstuinen) voorzien van stroom en een geluidsinstallatie. (Die laatste hebben we niet gebruikt)

Vooral in de ochtenden is er wat verkeerslawaai. Met de (altijd meenemen op reis) oordoppen sliepen we er doorheen. Daarom toch een 10 voor het geheel.

Lovely little cottage, cosy, clean and comfortable. Lovely location.

Everything you could possibly want or need was supplied The accommodation was excellent, very clean and comfortable. Parking was very easy and next to the accommodation.

There was nothing to dislike.

Everything about the Bijou Malthouse was well thought out and well presented; it was 'small but perfectly formed'. The Garden room was 'the icing on the cake' and our hosts couldn't have been more helpful.

Nothing really, we were visiting friends nearby and the accommodation was perfect for our requirement

Very comfy bed and superb shower. Everything was very clean. Nice additions, such as cereal, milk, tea, coffee were appreciated. Nice little seating area outside where we enjoyed breakfast.

Not a critisism, just suggestion......Rodger was on hand to (patiently) explain how to operate equipment, but maybe some simple instructions on how to use equipment might be handy for luddites like us!
