What a superb find We utterly loved Martin our host and the setting in Melrose - a safe, private and truly exceptional stay - and most importantly - no speed bumps for our little Porsche 911 - thanks Martin

Owner and his wife are friendly. Good spacious room, lovely breakfast

Being required to notify owner to put the boiler on for warmer water. Didn't bother as it made us feel embarrassed so had a lukewarm shower.

Everything was clean and fresh looking. Comfortable beds. Lovely and cosy with a log burning stove. We had everything we needed. Very friendly, attentive hosts. Delicious breakfast. The garden was amazing.
