The location, hospitality, staff, drumming and music at night, food, clean facilities and rooms. Overall it is a good valie for money. I will be back soon!

Everything was perfect

The tent we were placed in was very spacious, especially the bathroom. What really surprised us was the fact that it stayed really warm throughout the night even if it was freezing outside. Our guide Hamza is a genuine person and delivered more than a great service. He was always at hand to respond to our queries/requests and was generous with his responses. Stayed for two nights in the camp outside Mhamid and for a night at their camp in Erg Chigaga and both places are very comfortable. Our New Year’s Eve party at the Mhamid camp was really fabulous. It started with a sumptuous dinner with a lamb tagine that was incredibly delicious. Then we were served fresh fruits and tea. After the dinner, we were treated with some traditional Sahrawi music, which was very pleasant to listen to. After that, the guests took over and played music of their choice over the Bluetooth speakers well into the early hours and celebrated the new year in style. Breakfasts are very good as we are served some delicious omelettes, bread, juices, tea and coffee etc. Lunches are also grand as we were served rice and bbq one afternoon and Berber omelette the other. Have to say they have the services of a true master chef as every meal served is extremely delicious.

Literally nothing to dislike to be honest but the only downside could be the salt water in the toilet taps but how can you expect fresh water in the desert?

We got picked up from Mhamid and driven to the camp. The staff was friendly and tried to make our stay as good as possible. They also helped us book a trip into the desert - very recommendable. Breakfast was amazing, the room beautiful (there are several small houses), and it's just gorgeous to experience sunrise and sunset in the desert, enjoying the remoteness and calmness. As they drove us back to our car in Mhamid, it had a flat tire and they also helped us fixing it.

We didn't have warm water in the shower, but also we didn't want to waste water and leave it running to figure out if warm water comes after a while... but in the end: we're in the desert, so it's a luxus to have running water and proper toilet at all ;)

The place was great

The camp is in an amazing area right at the Sahara. And still super comfortable. The stay was very nice, I highly enjoyed it!

All is expensive one the camp , food, water.. shower is salt water
