Camp Desert Stars

Beautiful place and friendly, helpful people, great music evenings! I do recomend!

The Camp is a litte bit outside of M'Hamid in the middle of beautiful dunes and palmtrees. We were offered a parking place in the village and were brought to the camp by a 4x4. Everyone was super friendly and the food was great. The owners also have a second camp in the high dunes of Erg Chigaga, where we also spent a night. It was beautiful too und and very easy to book. You can go sandboarding and the camp is super relaxing.

Everything was perfect! We stayed here only for one night but we came at the camp around 3pm so we still had half a day to exeperince the dessert which was amazing. We had a lovely 4 course traditional dinner at 8pm and after the dinner the owner and his friends played and sang songs by the fire. We came to camp at the beginnig of March and we were a little bit worried that we would get cold at night but there were so many cozy blankets waiting for us in the tent so we weren't cold at all. At the morning they prepared a delicious breakfast and than we said goodbye. I would definitely recommend this camp to everyone!

We have been two nights at the camp because there was a festival at MHamid. The Camp is about three km remote from the town but they come to get you for free when you arrive at M'Hamid and during the Festival there was a shuttle to take you back and forth. We really appreciated the kindness of the personal, they offered us a lot of tea, they played music, made a fire at night and they have also a good restaurant. We learned a lot about the desert Lifestyle and we warmly recommend this place, its simply magic!
