"Beautiful hotel in quiet location"

- The hotel is beautiful, like the many heritage mansions in the area. - Staff are friendly. - Close and walkable to other attractions in the villages. It is a quiet village. - Can buy water/soft drinks/beer at the hotel. - Can pre-order dinner (curries around 300-350 inr), which has nice ambience. However portions are a little small and you can’t order more in the moment as it is all pre-ordered which is a shame. - Lunch is also available at the hotel, from a fixed pre-made selection either “veg” (400 inr) or “non-veg” (450 inr). - Despite a thin mattress, I found the bed comfortable. - The bathroom is up some stairs which is interesting and it is a good size, with a nice little balcony too - The pool is clean, quiet, and tidy. Fairly private behind locked gates. - WiFi decent but not in all areas (eg dining room).

- Twin beds pushed together - not a double bed. Thin mattresses. - No sealed bottled water provided. - Chairs on balcony very uncomfortable. - Room lighting could be improved. - Pool is 5 min walk away. - Shower a good size but hot water is limited and the shower isnt very strong. - Could hear people in the adjoining room. - Power cuts

"Prachtig gebouw, medium comfort level ."

Prachtig gebouw, lekker zwembad

Prima hotel, zwembad was heerlijk maar niet bij hotel, je moest en paar straten verderop lopen. Ajurvedisch centrum bij zwembad was gesloten. Onderhoud van gebouw zou beter kunnen.. Matrassen waren eerst te dun en (na matraswissel) toen erg hard.

"Authentic Chettinad Experience"

A very authentic heritage stay which really captures the essence of Chettinad. The breakfast and dinner were fresh and homely. Staffs were also very polite and helpful. Made us feel homely throughout the stay. Location was really great.

The toilet outside that was kept for common use was very dirty. It was appaling.
