O Espaço exterior da piscina deveria ser revisto em função da dimensão da piscina, a referir a substituição da parte das madeiras, a existência de mais sombras e espreguiçadeiras. A oferta de produtos no pequeno almoço também deve melhorada.

Facilities and setting were beautiful and the food and restaurant were just what we wanted

I was impressed with the beautiful setting of Craveiral Farmhouse and the way it connects guests with nature, but I am concerned about how the animals are cared for. The chickens looked unwell and were being housed in a way that encouraged unnecessary aggression, with too many roosters kept together. In addition, a wild piglet entered the goat pen and was left there for over six hours after we all reported it, during which time it was being kicked, bitten, and headbutted. Although staff said the situation was being handled, nothing was done during that time. Craveiral presents itself as a place that cares for animals and nature, but my experience made me question whether that commitment is being properly followed through.

I read many reviews saying the property was in need of maintenance. I took the view that it was likely shabby chic and boho style and the reviewers were not expecting that. However, so many issues need to be addressed. The bikes dotted around the resort (great idea) are mostly broken including brakes that don’t work and are essentially dangerous. We were told to be careful of the decking and loose screws on arrival so the children didn’t get hurt. The gym is a room with a triangle of small hand weights, and needs attention. The skate park was dangerous broken rusty and unusable. No staff or otherwise were present when we attempted a scheduled table tennis competition at what appeared to be an unused table in a shed in the corner of the site. The food was the worse we had (we travelled to 7 places around Portugal) and I am really sad to say was just not good. I like the concept and we did enjoy our stay in spite of the above. But I would have booked elsewhere in hindsight.

Wunderschöne Anlage und vor allem ein tolles Konzept. Durch die großen Einheiten und in unserem Fall vorhandene Küche, hat man viele Möglichkeiten. Super Frühstück und hervorragendes Restaurant.

Der Teufel steckt im Detail. Es löst sich doch hier und da eine Schraube oder müsste wieder instandgesetzt werden. Indoorpool war wenig einladend. Schattenplätze sehr rar.

The experience was disappointing. Breakfast was very limited, with almost no fruit — and there were many flies landing on the food. Staff were rude on several occasions, including during dinner and when a wooden barb injured my friend’s foot, with no help offered. Our room’s AC was broken and it took hours to be moved. There’s no gym, which is surprising for the price. Also, most of the staff didn’t speak Portuguese, which is the local language. I wouldn’t stay again.
