Quinta dos Reis

L’emplacement, le jardin fleuri et la grande maison étaient top classe. Bel extérieur bien entretenu avec gazouillis des oiseaux et tranquillité.

La vaisselle n’était pas très propre. Le bruit continu du frigo même la nuit. Une - deux chaises longues dans le grand jardin pour se poser aurait été agréable.

De tuin was heerlijk. Genieten van alle geluiden van de natuur en de rust die het gaf. De afstanden naar diverse locaties zijn zeer goed te doen met een auto.

Kleine douchecabine, maar verder prima.

# It's a traditional stone house which is nice, but the draw back is that it might be a bit chilly in winter. We rented the house end of February and with the rainy weather we had, we really needed the heater. In summer it's probably not an issue.

House is lovely, the location is amazing, near the sea but surrounded by native forest

It’s well located for touring Terceira. Everything is about 20 mins from the location.

It’s surrounded by large trees forming a cuve and reverberating all surrounding sounds. Pleasant during the day with the birds, but a total nightmare at night when all the dogs bark all night long. You truly have the feeling they are outside your window how much the sound is amplified. Your best bet is to fall asleep at dawn. It’s cultural contrary to North America, in Portugal, Spain and Italy, dogs barking are like sleeping peels to them, while for us it’s disturbing and gets on our nerves.

Even though the weather wasn't the best, we enjoyed the garden so much! You can sit on the terrace when it rains and feel the nature as the garden continues directly to the forest. The house has all you need to spend time there, there's lots of space and you can make yourself at home. There are lots of places of interest nearby, but I would personally recommend taking a car. We had a perfect stay and enjoyed exploring the area.

Everything was perfect. In case something would have been needed, we are sure, João would have helped us out - he was always staying in touch with us.
