The location is wonderful for relaxation, but still close enough to the beaches to enjoy the best of both worlds.

This little guest house is off the beaten path in a lovely setting in the hills. We loved the owners, John and Margarida; they were so kind and helpful. We felt like guests in their home--which we were. We were able to use the washing machine to wash a week's worth of dirty clothes. The little house is not your average hotel room. It's a little guest house, clean and comfortable. Don't expect it to be modern; it feels more like a little farm house--like a lake cabin or something similar. It suited us so well. It had everything thing we needed. The grounds are lovely with a small swimming pool and views of the surrounding hills.

We can't find any fault with the accommodations; however, be aware it is not that close to the major highways--it took about a half hour to get here off the major road.
