I recently had the pleasure of spending a few days on a farm getaway, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by open landscapes, fresh air, and a peaceful atmosphere that instantly helped me unwind. Whether it was feeding the animals in the morning, walking through the fields, or just sitting back with a coffee while watching the sunrise, every moment felt grounded and rejuvenating. The farm life pace is slower and more meaningful — exactly the kind of break I didn’t know I needed. The hosts were warm and hospitable, and the attention to detail in every aspect — from the cozy accommodation to the locally sourced meals — made the experience feel personal and memorable. If you're looking to unplug, reconnect with nature, and enjoy some honest simplicity, I can’t recommend this farm retreat enough. I left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already thinking about when I can come back!

If you want open space and peace and quiet, this is your place. Plenty farm roads to explore by bicycle in the area. Fully equipped kitchen and nice braai corner. And your friends the zebras and eland are always there if you need them. Would definitely recommend.

The location is perfect to breathe and have a quiet nights rest. Love the animals! I have nothing negative to say.

I would opt for an electric gate but that’s my preference and should not be a must if that’s not the plan in the future. But honestly amazing!!!! Place

Lovely, peaceful location. Huge space with ample beds and bathrooms. Everything was supplied for us. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, water, salt, pepper firewood and firelighters, comfy bedding and towels and shower gel too. Books to read and some games if you are bored. The view is amazing, and we really just sat on the patio and enjoyed our morning coffee listening to and watching the animals. In the evening, we sat and watched the prettiest sunsets. Left feeling very relaxed and will definitely come back again

some maintenance on the property needs to be done like a bit of rust by the bath and the trap door in the ceiling hanging but nothing major.

What a beautiful place. The views were stunning, my friends who were from America enjoyed the Zebra and Springbok on the property. It was just beautiful. The house was big with plenty of room and comfortable beds.

Loved the location, the size of the property, the ease of access, cleanliness, comfort!

The microwave didn’t work, the oven took for ever to heat food, the kettle takes forever to boil water and the lights go out at 09:30 every morning and the water is also limited when that happens.
