Casa do Alambique

Bel hébergement dans un lieu rustique à quelques pas de la mer. Nous avons bien apprécié.

O portão de entrada da casa deveria ter uma luz, a zona é escura e tinha dificuldade em entrar no portão devido à falta de luz.

Authentiek huisje in een geweldige omgeving. Leuk dat de wijnpers nog zichtbaar is. Zeer rustige en fijne locatie. Tuin met veel privacy. Wat we echt geweldig vonden was het geluid van de Kuhls pijlstorm vogels in de avond. Zo bijzonder... contact met de eigenaar was prima, en er stond een welkomspakket met streekproducten. Volgende morgen kregen we vijgen en lekkere koekjes. Dank!

Het klopt dat de inrichting wat verouderd is, maar joh, je krijgt er zoveel voor terug. Voor ons een plek om weer terug te komen.

Küchenausstattung ist spärlich. Sauberkeit im großen und ganzen OK, könnte aber besser sein.

The location of the house is truly excellent: right in the middle of the vineyards, with a stunning view of the mountain. The bedrooms and the bathroom are comfortable, and the setting has a lot of potential.

Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was very disappointing. The kitchen is old and poorly equipped, and the living room feels inadequate. Although we reported some issues halfway through our stay – and they did bring dish towels, replaced some ceiling lights, and added a wooden spoon and a knife – many problems remained unresolved. The utensils do not match, the crockery is mismatched, the cutlery has permanent stains, and several lights do not work. There wasn’t a single floor or table lamp in the entire house. One of the sockets came off when trying to plug in a device, one of the oven burners did not work, the fridge door was missing shelves, and we found several cobwebs. The trash bin had both its lid and pedal broken, which made it unpleasant to use. During the last two days of our eight day stay we had no hot water, and when we contacted the property, we never received any reply. Another negative point is that the adjacent plot of land, although supposedly not part of the property, was dirty and overgrown. It was directly connected to the house by a flimsy wooden gate without a latch, which gave a sense of neglect and lack of separation. It is a pity, because the place is beautiful and could offer a wonderful stay, but the house urgently needs better maintenance, cleaning, and attention to detail.
