Singleton Lodge Country House Hotel

Fab value and lovely staff. The Alpacas were a pleasant surprise! Would like breakfast to be available before 7 in an ideal world, as I am an early starter and location does feed into a little traffic if you are heading to Preston/M6 South.

The TV in my room had a "burn line" in it. Not massive, but I would have liked a perfect picture for the football.

Location. Dinner was well cooked

Bed was a bit sodt

The property is in a beautiful setting and the alpacas are a bonus

The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable and breakfast was delicious

The room was spacious with a sofa so that I could sit & read with a coffee

The bed, although it looked beautiful was not very comfortable & the room was at the back of the property with a view of the kitchens.

Everything was great. Lee the night porter was lovely. A credit to your hotel.

On arrival went to the room. We found that the bed sheets were stained with human fluids. Also the pillow slips and the mattress protectors was also stained with bodily fluids and black mascara. On reporting this member of staff changed the bed. Later we went to run the bath and found the bath was dirty and had a thick layer of skin around it. Again we reported this to reception and the bar maid said cannot change your room as we are full. So came up with rubber gloves and scrubbed the bath . The room itself was dirty. The bar staff I talked to said come to the bar for a drink. Its clear to say the whole experience was disgusting and ruined our trip to visit family. No visit from the hotel manager for an apology and we definitely not be staying here again.
