O Palheiro - Vista Panorâmica e Jacuzzi

Casa com todas as disponibilidades possíveis. A anfitriã foi muito prestável, inclusive durante a estadia ofereceu uns legumes, ovos e um pão caseiro (acabado de fazer) 👌

The house is very clean, cosy and welcoming. We came as a family of three, with a baby, so we welcomed the cleanliness and the fact that the house is very safe (the staircase has barriers up and down, there's a fire extinguisher and fire blanket, etc.). There is everything you need to cook (e.g. kitchen utensils, pots, plates, cups and glasses of all sorts; an oven, microwave and stove with a hood - all modern and easy to use, fridge and freezer, dishwasher) and a huge oven and grill outside (shame there was no charcoal as the previous guests used it all). Bathrooms are spotless clean and the shower upstairs is spacious enough to put a big baby bath. There's even a laundry basket in the bathroom (washing machine is in the kitchen). Most importantly, the house is just perfect for leisure, spending time with family and friends. Plenty of space outside on the balcony where a super easy to use (and very clean) jacuzzi is, but also in the lounge area downstairs - a big dining table for 8 people (aside the one in the kitchen), corner sofa to relax, blinds to cover the windows when it's too sunny, sounds of nature - nearby river and birds singing. Just amazing. The owner did an amazing job and thought of every detail to make the stay comfortable, relaxing and worry free. A very nice touch are different utensils from the past - a plough, sieves, lamps - all adding up to the cosy and relaxing vibe. We requested a cot and received a next to me cot (up to 8 kg) and a baby towel. The cherry on the cake was the possibility for us and our baby to try a homegrown courgette, blueberries, beans and eggs that the owner kindly shared. Absolutely delicious!

A very nice renovated house. I love the style! It was a fantastic experience to stay there. Calm and quiet night and such a wonderful view on the mountains and surrounding. We took a quick walk to one of the view point in the evening and nevertheless the sun was already barely seen (8:30 pm) the mountains, river and all the trees around were still stunning. A separate thank you for the super sweet oranges and highly eco home eggs 😀. If we travel in this area again we definitely willing to come back ❤️

It was beautiful! The decor was amazing, comfortable and perfectly matched the mountain cottage vibes. The antiques and touches like homemade soap, bespoke lamps in the downstairs room, lavender wand on the radiators to fill the air with good smells, so many personal details! Absolutely beautiful and unique experience!

This is beautiful, quaint little house with a small garden in a tiny village of 40 or so inhabitants. For those looking for peace and quiet it's perfect. The house is well equipped and comfortable. You could spend all day looking at the view but if you do get out there are wonderful hikes and river beaches not far from the house. Anna, the host, is lovely and responsive with great recommendations!

2 of the double beds are small doubles, better suited for 2 kids in each rather than 2 grown ups. We were 3 people in total so we were fine and the beds were very comfortable. Bring your own basics - oil and spices for cooking.

Wow! This was such a beautiful, memorable home to stay in, full of character, with perfect ammenities, and a super friendly, accommodating, helpful host. It is located in a tiny stone village, quiet and local. It is walking distance from two amazing places to swim in the river! There is a local cafe next door where you can get coffee and beer, and not much else :) The beds were comfy, the kitchen was big and amazing and ready for proper cooking, the barbecue area is ready for action, the views from the balcony are awesome, the house is beautiful and full of character inside and out. This really exceed our expectations in every way and the only thing we regret is not staying longer.

We loved our stay. The house is meticulous, done an amazing work for the renovation. The jacuzzi is just cherry on top. Cannot beat a jacuzzi after breakfast with mountain views. Definitely will return.

It is a very old stone property fully renewed and refurbished which give us a taste of what was living 100 ago. There was a jacuzzi that was a success for my children
