O Palheiro - Vista Panorâmica e Jacuzzi

The location, the building, the surrounds - all were exceptional. Ana met us on arrival and showed us around. She even dropped off some home made bread a bit later and couldnt have been more helpful. If you want to get away from the big cities and see the stars at night while soaking in a warm Jacuzzi tub out in the fresh air then this is the place for you. We could only stay one night and day but I would definitely stay longer next time. The villages are absolutely stunning, only 42 people live there. Very friendly. A great restaurant across the valley that serves delicious food. There is a man made pool in the river behind the village also but beware, its cold! Some great walks and lots of history around. Spectacular is all I can say.

The beds were a little hard but i slept like a log anyhow after a long walk.

Location. Design and style of apartments. Cleaniness. Cosiness. A lot of space. Beautiful mountsin views. Terrace with jacuzzi. Smiling, welcoming snd helping hostess. Everything was just perfect!!

The house is amazing, in the most beautiful scenary. The hostess is knowledgeable of the area and its history. Not to mention how helpful she was the whole stay. We're coming back next year!

I can't think of a single thing

Host Ana and her family were wonderful and provided alot of information about the village and the area. The accommodation was excellent and had everything you would need and more for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back

Cute little house and very comfortable in a nice, historical location. Amazing view as well! Ana is an incredible host and received us with a lot of good suggestions for dining and walking in the surroundings. The jacuzzi is definitely a plus and for a small group of friends the place is lovely. Recommend and will definitely return.

The extra bed is not a sofa that turns into a bed but an extra IKEA folding mattress (so good for one, 2 nights top). Also the rooms on the first floor got a lot of light in the morning. The blackouts help but for more sensitive to light people, it's better to bring a blindfold.

The host was super nice and friendly. Put herself readily available to help since the start. Pointed out all tips and places to visit, suggested trails, and really ran the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and relaxed. We even enjoyed a fresh batch of bred, still hot from the community oven, given by the her. The house is lovely, nicely built, and decorated with good taste, capturing the village's atmosphere. The facilities are all there, and the barbecue is a big plus! It is a gorgeous and peaceful area, perfect for recharging your batteries.
