Elsa is now a special friend. The small town was a pleasure to be in and see from the shared balcony and the mountains around. Elsa pointed out a trailhead for us as hikers to take that was exemplary of the region. Breakfast was very nice and fun, thanks to Elsa. It should be clear that we enjoyed our stay.

Everything! The house is beautiful. The room was comfortable and super clean. Elsa went above and beyond to make our stay great with recommendations of trails and restaurants. Breakfast was wonderful.

This is an exceptional place to stay and one of the best on our one month trip in Portugal. Elsa treated us like family, the home is exceptionally clean with the most beautiful photo art of this gorgeous area. The breakfast is all homemade food with delicious baking and meat and local cheese, it’s just excellent. We really loved the room with beautiful wool blankets from the area, the fine touches are impressive. We slept so well as it’s so peaceful and comfortable. This was also one of our favourite areas to visit as very authentic and non touristy , lovely little mountain town. Elsa provided a lot of input on great places to eat, hike and enjoy. Elsa has great passion for her work and gives her whole heart to running this lovely place.

The host was really friendly and provided us with suggestions for our first trip to Portugal. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast was generous.Elsa is very helpful with ideas for things to visit.

It’s advertised as a suite, but it’s really a large room. Better lighting and a few chairs would be nice

This was an amazing place to stay during our holidays. Cozy, clean and with an incredible atmosphere. Elsa is really kind and passionate about what she does. I hope one day we can come back!
