This spot is very comfortable and perfect if you’re looking for a private and quiet minimalist stay! The staff are lovely and helpful, we rented a scooter right on the spot which was great for the high heat of the days - it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the main beach of mazunte, which neither of us minded. I love the big windows and hammock in the main room and subdued bedroom in back. No AC in this unit but plenty of fans to help keep you cool. Was a perfect little stay. Thank you!

We really felt comfortable here, so we ended up staying 6 nights instead of the planned 3 nights. The location is perfect – everything is in walkable distance to San Agustinillo and Mazunte and it's far enough away from the busy streets. The place itself is a green, shady oasis, so we also enjoyed hanging out there midday when the sun was too intense for us to be at the beach. Adrián is an amazing host, who supported us quickly with any requests we had during our stay. The kitchen is very well equipped, the chill out area super nicely put together and the bed and bathroom provide everything needed. We also loved the mosquito nets window concept! The Internet worked well and the price is also very fair – can highly recommend Casa Aquila!

Location within a short walking distance of both Mazunte and San Angustinillo. Outdoor kitchen and eating area. Comfortable bed and well functioning air conditioning unit. Close to all conveniences of the small towns. Unit was very private and surrounded by greenery

Great staff, beautiful apartment with nature around!! I definitely used the AC (which functions very well) as it's hot here. In the studio apartment as I imagine in some of the others you hear the roosters in the morning. If noise is a thing for you, that might be hard however, I mostly slept well as the vibe at this place is really good!
