21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati

The hotel is a bit lacking in amenities and comfort for the price. For a couple we were given exactly 2 bath towels each day, the room lacks easy countertops or storage, the minibar was broken and had water inside along the bottom, the conditioner bottle was empty (had not been refilled), and there was a strange smell in our room. But the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was very large, and the location was good for our needs. The art was very good (I work in the visual arts) and definitely the nicest component of the hotel.

Rooms were spacious and very nice

Was pretty disappointed in the lack of bathroom amenities. The bottle of hand soap was completely gone & so was the body wash. We checked in later after a Reds game, so it wasn’t convenient to call housekeeping to restock at 10 at night.

Amazing comforting experience

Fun property, right by free trolley and many attractions, easy walk to the River.

Quiet location for the center of Cincinnati. Valet parking made it easier to drop/pick up car. Everything was walkable and the area was beautiful. Staff warm, welcoming and helpful.

Valets were nice and friendly. Restaurant servers could use some smiles. Our bed was comfortable and bathroom was nice and roomy. Refrigerator didn’t work and the coffee maker was extremely loud and annoying. Area around the hotel was nice and we enjoyed restaurants near by.

What once was an excellent property (the museum collection is still a bonus) seems to be a bit rundown. Rooms seemed worn and in need of attention. Bathroom fixtures were loose and falling apart. I was expect much more since they were recently closed for renovations. They did what I hate the most when booking 3rd party. Stuck me in a handicap room when clearly the facility had other unoccupied rooms. Maybe better rooms are saved for direct bookings.

Very comfy beds, around several good restaurants. Very good customer service, the first room had an awful smell and they switched us with no problems, they were very nice about it.
