EL DESCANSO “the Rest”

Excelente lugar para descansar, muy cómodo y silencioso.

This is very peaceful independent house. The atmosphere was really good. Owner picked me up and drop me off when I checked in and checked out. It is far away from the town, but local buses are running regularly. Easy to catch them.

The road to the house was not easy to walk when it gets raining. Dry season should be ok though.

It is far from the city, there are no restaurants and supermarkets, and the hotel has no front desk, so check-in is not very smooth. But the room is quite comfortable, there is a clean kitchen, and there is a free parking space. If you need a quiet rest, this is a good place. I stayed here for two days and slept very comfortably.

Lovely room, lots of space, nice garden and kitchen, and the owner was super friendly and helpful.

There was a lot of noise from a party going on nearby. But these things happen.

The house is amazing. You have fully equipped kitchen, fire place, hammock, good internet and very comfortable beds !! The owner even offered me to pick me up from otavalo a showed me around the village.

a very tranquil place. I went there to get some work done and it was perfect. wifi everywhere, great view of the lake, fully equipped kitchen and public spaces

I got to the place and no one opened.

The hosts were super dependent and accommodating of us. They even gave us rides and made sure that we weren’t overcharged by other drivers. They even took us to their favorite restaurant.

A nice and quiet environment, if you want peace and harmony this is the place
