My partner and I love our stay! Located very conveniently by the river in Anbō port, less than 5 mins walk to the main street . We had rooms with a view over the Anbō river. This location made it very easy to go kayaking on the beautiful river, and an easy walk to catch the bus to go on the Jomon Sugi hike and other attractions on the island. Our host was very accommodating, allowing us to check in early and leave our bags for a short while after checkout. Our host also assisted with arranging bento boxes for our long hike, and provided a free snack a day.

The property is a guest house, so keep in mind that there are shared spaces (such as kitchen, bathroom and shower). Come prepared for these circumstances and you will enjoy it.

The owner was lovely and very helpful. She even gave a small complementary breakfast and shochu despite the price being so reasonable. Very convenient for accessing the arakawa trailhead with the first morning bus.
