A delightful cottage with everything you need for your stay. Well off the road although the train does come past early morning. Cereal and fruit provided with some bread in the freezer.

This was our second stay at Mont’s Cottage and won’t be our last! The location is perfect, halfway between Hokitika to the south and Greymouth to the north. But you’re away from any crowds, traffic, noise. Being in the country is very relaxing, the cottage is so sweet. You lack for nothing thanks to Elena’s hospitality. A quick text to her when you arrive and the place is yours. A nice welcome basket of fresh fruit, milk, butter and jam in the fridge, washing machine with detergent supplied, comfy couches, dining tables indoors and out, beautiful flowers and landscaping all around the property. The kitchen and pantry are so well stocked, you’d think you were at home! This is the perfect place to stay! Thank you Elana.

Absolutely nothing wished we could stay longer

Well equipped comfortable cottage for our family. This was our second visit and I'm sure there will be more.

This accommodation is near to Hokitika and on a farm property, so is very quiet. The cottage has everything one would need and so comfortable! Plenty of sights and shops in Hokitika.
