Mont's Cottage

What a gem! Thank you to Elana for taking such great care of this beautiful cottage - immaculate, clean, comfortable, and with a delicious fruit bowl, food for breakfast and as well a Nespresso coffee machine We especially loved the quiet and private location, the space, the comfy beds - and discovering a very deserted new beach :-)

Wish we could have stayed longer - sad to leave

Really enjoyed staying at the cottage. Everything you needed was there with supremely comfortable beds and great rural location between Hokitika & Greymouth.

Excellently equipped kitchen and pantry. Fresh fruit provided, and ample milk plus frozen bread if we wanted. Loved the garden flowers and the outside dining extras. The bed was the best of any motel we have visited

Highway traffic noise meant keeping doors and windows closed for ‘rush’ periods on the state highway. Not much view, except for the garden which made up for it. The location between Hokitika and Greymouth really fitted in with our touring plans.

Mont’s cottage and gardens were so charming and well cared for. The host left a fruit, milk, bread for guest use. The beach access was a bonus. We spent a month in New Zealand and this was one of our favorite places we stayed.

Cute cottage and garden, looking onto a farm, just off the main road and easy to find with the detailed instructions. Very well appointed, and clean. Breakfast provisions. Apps on the tv to be able to stream movies.

Generous breakfast of fresh fruit, yoghurt, muesli toast and spreads. Plunger and pod coffee a bonus.

The cottage provided an excellent stopover for us 3 adults on a tour of the South Island.

This charming cottage with its lovely garden provided the perfect retreat. From the warm welcome with free fruits, bread and milk, every moment was a delight.
