The host was super friendly and fed us like an army with a fully stocked kitchen and fresh bread every morning. The house was beautiful, had an outside lounging area and parking.

It was +30C when we visited and the traditional house has no air conditioning.

The host is amazing. She spoiled us with fresh bread, eggs, cheese, and pie. The house looks magical, very pretty and cozy. We loved our stay and want to come back!

The host Amelia was responsive and helpful. The property is in a quiet area but with some cafes nearby so it was convenient.

The cottage is charming and cozy, and Amélia is a gracious and helpful host. We were in Soajo during rainy, chilly weather and it was so great to enjoy a cozy fire in the evenings.

It's a small little rural cottage decorated Portuguese traditional style, perfect for a weekend away in the mountains of Soajo. We loved the fireplace and we were provided enough wood to keep it running in the evenings which was wonderful. We appreciated the home made cake and plenty of breakfast supplies that were at the house when we first checked in, the cake was particularly welcomed since it was my partner's birthday.

The house is substantially smaller than it appears on the pictures, so id say it's a good size for a couple but too small for 4 people. The living room only has comfortable space for two people, if there are more then they can't properly watch the tv as the wooden sofas are small and tucked in a corner. The house has little natural light, so not ideal if you have to stay long hours inside. When we visited the garden was wild and overgrown so it didn't look like a garden at all, which is a pity as it detracted from the entire atmosphere of the little cottage. We had some issues regarding check in and check out times with the lady that manages the place, and found her to be a little rude. In particular we found it inappropriate for her the moment we arrived at the house to spend 15 minutes lecturing us. It wasn't the best start for our birthday weekend, but we managed to make the most of it.

A beautiful large rural house decor in rustic style, set in its own very large garden. On the edge of the village so extremely quiet and peaceful, cow bells were all we heard. Amelia, our host, was the Best! She delivered plenty of food including fresh bread every morning. Wonderful!

Wonderful location. Perfect cottage and lovely host Amelia looked after us above and beyond our expectations. The cottage is very clean and cosy in a traditional way. Amazing outside space to relax in. The delicious honey cake on our arrival and the daily supply of bread, was much appreciated not to mention the fridge full of goodies. I have now stayed at 4 separate accommodations in Soajo this year and this is by far the best. Well done Amelia. Obrigado.
