Finca el Cortijo

I stayed here for work-related reasons, and this place turned out to be the perfect escape from the tourist crowds. It’s surrounded by nature, peaceful and relaxing — exactly what I needed after busy workdays. The staff is absolutely wonderful: always welcoming, smiling, and genuinely caring. There is exceptional attention to cleanliness and environmental care — the territory is cleaned every morning, which really shows how much they value their surroundings. A very special highlight for me was the cats 🐾 I’m a big animal lover, and coming back after work to be greeted and accompanied by them made my stay even more special and homely. They truly kept me company and made me feel at ease. Special greetings to Philippa (the cat!) — she stole my heart. I will definitely come back.

Alles war nach einer Reklmation sauber. Still eingerichtet im alten spanischen Betrieb, wie es nur eine Frau machen kann.

Küche wurde zwischen drei Appartments geteilt, was man hätte vor der Buchung hätte erwähnen müssen. Ich bin davon ausgegangen, daß ich die Küche alleine habe. Ansonsten stimmte die Beschreibung.

Beautiful finca, secluded and very peaceful. Our room was large with a well stocked kitchen. Lots of places to sit and a heated swimming pool. Staff were very friendly.We were able to walk to delicious local restaurants. .

Large enough room and lovely large and comfortable bed. Lovely views. Great cleaner. Responses quick to requests for clean towels. Tables out in the garden and lovely looking pool. Good amount of equipment in kitchen and easy to use oven & microwave, good size fridge and freezer.

Small shower, cold bathroom, (heating from air-con didn’t warm that), not enough light in room and especially it enough in kitchen. No heat in kitchen so mainly had to eat in our own room in the eves and the chairs in our room weren’t very comfortable, the backs especially. Our main issue really wasn’t their fault - we should have booked something nearer the coastal level, it was quite chilly up higher.

The shower was really tiny, the surrounding area industrial and poor farming

The accommodation was clean and tidy. The rooms are purpose built and a little utilitarian. There isn’t much sound proofing between the rooms. The shared kitchen is well stocked and the free fruit was much appreciated. The pool area is neat and the heated pool was refreshing.

I knew that the property wasn’t in the centre of the village, but it is a long way out of town. It’s a steep 23minute walk from the main bus stop. The last part of the route is a track and unlit. This meant going out in the evening wasn’t an option. You get used to the guard dogs on the route.

Great, tranquil location. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. Very peaceful and satisfying stay.if
