Finca el Cortijo

This place is really great! It's so beautiful with a heated swimming pool and an awesome view of the island and the ocean. There are some cute and friendly cats roaming around. The room is big, has air conditioning, and good wifi. Plus, the apartment has everything we need, like a hairdryer. The owner is always around and super friendly. We even got free papaya and local eggs for breakfast. It's just a 25-minute drive to the best beaches on this part of the island.

Airco was available

No check-in, just a guy giving keys. Self check-in makes more sense then, at least you're not dependent on whether someone opens the door or not. Shower is uncomfortably small and there was no shower gell and shampoo. Stray cats want to go inside and you have to close the door really fast to avoid them. There were also a lizard inside the apartment going up the walls.

Heated pool. Clean rooms and well looked after finca. Good equipment and clean shared kitchen. Lovely host who checked in with us to see if everything is ok or if we need anything.

As already described by others, very small shower cabinet and lots of cats who sit on all the chairs and cushions. So, if you are not keen on cats or cat hair, that can be a bit off putting. Location not very idyllic. If you don’t have a car, difficult to get to. Although, that didn’t bother us.

We loved this place. Pool was heated. Kitchen had some essentials like salt, pepper, olive oil, tea and coffee. We arrived late and Lourdes gave us some food for breakfast. She is most accommodating and gave extra towels and rugs. The place was spotlessly clean.

Very nice and calm place ! Comfortable beds, warm swimming pool, very friendly owner Lourdes. You can find basic stuff in the kitchen like salt, sugar, oil etc. Finca is very close to the airport, beaches and the Teide road. We really enjoyed our stay there.

it was all great, if your neighbors are a bit loud you can hear them. But we were not bothered a lot.

The owner was such a friendly, helpful when I needed some advice. If you wanna experience accommodation out of the turist areas, I recommend you this location for relaxing.

The hotel is located on the mountains, far away from the touristic places on the coastline.

Finca’s gateway is occupied by a big, wonderful but unfortunately sad dog. The dog spends the days and nights “guarding” the gate in 2.5 metres leash, and it’s not a welcoming view for anyone that cares for animals and their wellbeing. The dog’s living area is too small, and he didn’t seem happy or well, more like a prisoner. Event though he has been rescued from a shelter, and I don’t know all the details, this just doesn’t seem like the correct way to treat an animal. For this reason, I would not like to support this hotel for another visit.

Very comfortable room, good cooking facilities, generous and very friendly hosts, nice pool and great views.
