Our second visit at El Cauce was perfect again. The host is very friendly and helpful and she prepared a fine dinner for us in the evening.The accommodation is not luxurious but that is the charm of El Cauce.

Virginia is an exceptional host and cook. We felt immediately at home when we walked in. Beautiful garden, village and location. Great food and very comfortable room. We will be back for sure. Great place to stop before heading on to Bilbao or Santander for the ferry. Thank you Virginia!

"A wonderful welcoming host in a gorgeous home offering home cooked food was a very welcome change."

Our host Virginia was so kind and welcoming. After a long day Hiking the Camino she made us a wonderful home cooked meal. In the morning she guided us to the route following the river which was so peaceful.

Wonderful hosts allowed slightly earlier check in. Beautiful clean home. Delicious breakfast

The village is very small. No restaurants close by (only a bar with old looking snacks).
