The host was very friendly and we immediately felt at home at El Cauce. Besides this was the host also willing to make a dinner. Wonderful! The accommodation is simple but convenient. We recommend this stay.

"Virginia, the warmest welcome"

Virginia welcomed me with a big smile and warm handshake. She showed me around her lovely place. Arranged breakfast slightly earlier than normal as I had to leave early. The location is in a quiet scenic village on the Camino de Santiago route, beautiful.

Not having the chance to stay longer as I'd used it as a stop over.

"Lovely accommodation, a wonderful hostess."

The owner Virginie is a delightful person, she made us very welcome and provided a superb meal in the evening. Breakfast was excellent too with a wide choice of food. Our room was spacious and comfortable, very clean with toiletries provided. Our motorbikes were safe as there is plenty of secure parking. The garden is lovely too. A fabulous place to stay, excellent value for money, I highly recommend this guest house.

An absolute gem. Home cooked food was superb and Virginia the hostess made us feel so very welcome. Exceptional value . Ideal location for anyone visiting Burgos.
