Miranda Orchard Cottage

Comfortable, warm and inviting. Quiet and restful. Beautifully clean. Crisp bed linen; excellent shower; generous kitchen facilities. Close to good cafe, short drive to beautiful coastal walks and dinner options. We had a lovely weekend - just what we needed.

Lovely sunny cottage. Plenty of space and good kitchen and laundry. Surrounded by garden and close to Miranda shorebirds. Very friendly owners, fresh eggs from the hens and fruit from the trees. Would stay again.

Orchard Cottage was a welcoming refuge. Peaceful, spacious, comfortable. Communication with host was excellent before and during our stay. Recommend the location for the Hauraki Rail Trail and the Seabird Cost. Good information for where to eat and get supplies. We highly recommend both The Bayview Hotel and Kaiaua Fisheries.

Can't think of a single thing that disappointed.

Loved the fact we were out in the country surrounded by fruit trees and cows but not far from the sea. Our hoste were very responsive and loved the fact they both droppped by to say hello but were very unobtrusive. Very comfortable house with plenty of furniture and supplies and nice little extras…could definitely have been comfortable staying for longer and enjoying the outdoor area (if we didnt go in middle of winter!)

Loved the stay and the fresh fruit around. Loved how they had the heat pump on for us as we arrived at nighttime so the house was nice and warm.

No signage so when we did arrive in the dark we couldn’t tell if we were on the right driveway or not and also no note on the washing machine that it was broken. Apart from that amazing little place.

Lovely clean place, warm and relaxing atmosphere. Facility well kept and our hostess was fantastic. Communication was great and highly recommended.
