"Brilliant place to stay. Will stay again."

Brilliant place to stay. Plenty of space. Kitchen was like being at home. Nice and quiet location in the country , only evening noise were cows and a morepork (owl). Friendly owners. The fresh laid eggs were great. This is why we returned to stay here again, after staying here on our last trip to NZ 5 years ago.

"Superb"

Excellent for a weekend away, close to AKL yet far away to feel like a holiday. Property very clean and tidy, warm, hosts very generous with providing of milk, nice tea and coffee, and even things like salt & pepper, oil, marg etc! Very peaceful location, kids loved the friendly chickens and collecting the eggs. Fed the cows apples, and could see the new lambs from afar. Hosts very friendly and accommodating.

The generosity of the host was outstanding. Wonderfully peaceful. Close to bird sanctuary. The cottage was so well stocked . Barry was wonderful.

"Great Place to Stay!"

The place is amazing. The facilities are tidy and perfectly cared for. Cable TV and streaming are available besides the good Internet connection. Barry was super friendly. Great place for a family to chill during a weekend or more.

I met one of the owners Barry on the first day who was really helpful getting me oriented around. Very nice spacious cottage where everything was included. I liked the open kitchen, living room with the large TV. What really surprised me was the speed of the internet for such a rural location - will definitely take the laptop next time! The shower and toilet were good too and bed super comfortable.

Was nice to get extras considering there was no near by shop. Water, juice, biscuits, milk, lots of coffee, salt, sauce, all sorts. And the outside table.

Couldn't figure out how to keep the outside lights on. No big deal though we could of just asked.
