O espaço é muito central, muito bem decorado e limpo.

Com o calor que está faz falta um ar condicionado. No pequeno almoço contava com um pão local 😅 e um queijinho fresco

We loved the location and the rustic appeal of the house, it was very well renovated and maintained a lot of the original backbone of the original infrastructure. It also had a very cosy room that came with a very smart independent backdoor that allowed us to come in and out of the property as if it were a tiny apartment. Overall we really enjoyed the stay!

Unfortunately the bath of this particular room had a glass door that wasn't well sealed on the bottom, and after taking a shower not only was the foot rug completely soaked but the water had already reached the door of the bathroom. Luckily we had detected the problem the day before while one of us had a shower and we were careful as to not slip. However it can be a serious safety issue for other guests if they don't notice and confidently get out of the shower, they might slip and fall. Another two issues, although minor but could improve our comfort were the fact that the TV was grainy due to an issue in the cable or network transmission (front desk told us the network in those rooms was weak, but it that is the case and the tv is not functional, maybe it would be best not to have it there at all), and again in the bathroom the hand towel railing was poorly attached to the wall and detached when we lifted one of the towels. Other than that the stay was great and we would happily return in the future.

Perfect location for visiting Arouca 516 bridge. Friendly host. Good breakfast.

Was very hot days (+39C). In room is missing AC, so was too hot to sleep.

Guest house work comfortable beds, very clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was great, location was great for those interested in going to the 516 Arouca Bridge
