Casa do Plátano

The location is great, there is a beach 3km away, which is awesome place to spend evenings with beautiful sunsets. Room was lovely, in a beautiful, rustic house. Amazing atmosphere, which needs to be experienced. Great Tapas prepared few times a week- best food we had in Azores.

We really enjoy the location (u need a car to get there!), with sea view from one side e mountain view from the swimming pool, with a nice and beautiful garden. The room was new and well equipped, with a big space for storage all our things (even in the bathroom)

Sandra is an amazing host and her place is no less of a little heaven :) we would love to come back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming and cozy place, and it was a truly delightful experience. The lady owner, Sandra, was incredibly nice and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The welcoming atmosphere was warm and friendly, setting the tone for a wonderful stay. The Casa itself is beautifully maintained, with a lovely swimming pool and a well-kept garden that provided a serene and relaxing environment. One of the highlights was the food – on certain days Sandra prepares delicious meals herself. Overall, it was a very nice stay, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and charming place with exceptional hospitality. Thank you, Sandra, for making our stay so special!

Host Sandra is very kind and does everything to make your stay comfortable. Upon arrival she took much time to explain all about Terceira. Large room with big bed and very good shower. Nice garden with small refreshing pool and garden seats. Ocean view when outside breakfast. We would recommend this place.

Nothing big negative, we had a nice stay. The bed a little creaking. As the terrace is common space, do not expect too much privacy when sitting outside.

The host was so wonderful and welcoming! She had great recommendations for our stay on the island and was very helpful. And the property is beautiful and comfortable!

Sandra is super helpful. She gave us many tips for all around the island and even prepared an early breakfast for us the night before. The room was very nice! Very nice interior design!

The only downside is the property being close to the street there is some car noise. You can shut the noise out by closing the window. Our room was below her room, you can hear Sandra walking around when she gets up in the morning but it is only shortly and we got used to it quite quickly. It’s the charm of old houses.
