Casa do Plátano

Excellent location and facilities. Sandra is very nice and welcoming, she gave us lots of tips to visit Terceira as a local. We enjoyed trying to speak Portuguese with her, we loved the language and the country. Our room had views of the mountain and the sea. Birds and cows surrounded us. Terceira is an amazing island and Casa de Platano is one of the best places to be based.

our stay was incredible from the first second to the very last. sandra is such a beautiful soul. we felt like our mum is taking care of us. she helped us with out plans, drove us to the supermarket and added just the right thing to make this stay one to remember. very grateful, would recommend staying there! greetings 🙏🏽♥️

peaceful properly w a careful attention to creating the right home atmosphere. owner was always willing to help give guidance on travel, talk about the culture, and great meals in the weekend restaurant on property. extremely happy w my stay as a solo traveler looking to explore

The breakfast was alwas yery good. Due to sunny days we always could have our breakfast outside. Sandra and her always smiling help are very very friendly and we had also good private talks with Sandra. There are bathing places nearby and a small cheese factory.

The street in front of the house is over the day sometimes noisy, but at night there is no traffic

We loved our stay at Casa do Plátano. Beautiful garden with pool, lovely rooms with nice details, overall an amazing place. We would recommend everyone who stays at Terceira to stay at Casa do Plátano!!

We loved the overall experience and feel of the place. It is a beautiful house and equipped with furniture that suits its heritage. The garden is beautiful. The breakfast was very nice and personally served. The owners (and Tootsie, the Collie) made us feel very welcome. We were a bit sad to leave Sandra's place.

We loved our stay at Casa do Platano, thank you to Sandra and Andre! There was an incredible breakfast and the location was stunning, with the views of other islands and the mountains behind the house. We were very comfortable in our room and private bathroom and loved the access to the pool and beautiful garden in the backyard.

There were a few centipedes in our room that we had to kill, but other than that it was a great stay.

Very nice house in front of the sea. Sandra and Andre are very nice hosts and give good suggestions to visit the island. Breakfast was good.
