The Manor House, Curry Mallet

We had a lovely welcome on arrival, being offered a cup of tea after our day of cycling! Fleur told us about the Manor House and its history and Will gave us an enlightening tour of the great hall the next morning. Our rooms were comfortable

We ordered two pastries each for breakfast but it wasn’t made clear that we would have to pay for the second.

The location was lovely, and the hosts were very nice, and especially the four legged fury friends. The evening meal was ok, and breakfast was very nice.

We feel some areas needed cleaning a little bit more, especially in dining areas and we fully appreciate and understand it’s an old building so again we expect some dust etc .

Amazing property with a history going back hundreds of years. Lovely quiet location. Comfortable bed.

The bathroom although advertised as private was accessed only by the open landing. It is not for those who prefer more formal accommodation - it is a more quirky and individual.

Nothing. My rating of 8 is less than a full 10 as the Manor House is idiosyncratic and wouldn't necessarily appeal to all.

De warme ontvangst met thee, de historie, de tuin, de schone gezellige slaapkamer, zeer goede bedden en dekbedden, veel handdoeken, thee/koffie/water op kamer, de katten en de hond, de mogelijkheid tot avond eten, de locatie en natuurlijk de eigenaren moeder en zoon.

Echt niets. Een puntje dat al eerder benoemd is dat de serre schoner kan, maar de rest van het huis is prima.

De lieve mensen en de diertjes. Prachtig gebouw en omgeving. De heerlijke jammen.
