"Relaxing , handy for local places to visit , great hosts and we will 100% be visiting again !"

Great location right in the middle of town but quiet and secluded too . Garden was lovely with a wonderful walk just hopping over stile . Two great pubs nearby ( less than 3 mins walk ) as well a restaurant and a cafe . All perfect

It has everything you need for a break . There was nothing to dislike

"Amazing location, host and facilities."

The location was perfect for exploring the beauty of the Snowdonia National Park and coastal areas of mid and north Wales. Sarah was so kind when we arrived and had fresh milk and complimentary tea, coffee and snacks waiting. The Old Smithy is a small and perfectly formed, perfect layout well appointed.

If I had to make a small suggestion, it would be new pillows… but really the stay was fantastic.

"An ideal location for a short stay in Snowdonia."

The property was in a great location for the nearby pubs and restaurants in Trefriw and the hosts were very friendly and happy to accommodate bike storage and provided us with pointers regarding places to eat and local walks.

I’m quite tall (6 feet) so I had to be mindful not to bang my head on the beams and shower.

"Lovely"

Location to a lovely pub and village centre. Friendly, welcoming hosts. Everything you need in the accommodation. Very clean! Very comfortable.

My only comment would be it needs some form ventilation especially in the warm weather.

"Absolutely loved it & would stay again."

We loved everything about our stay & would definitely return. Excellent facilities & we were made to feel welcome.

The only very small criticism was that the shower head was fixed so it was unavoidable getting your hair wet but that was a very minor complaint.

"lovely weekend away"

Such a clever use of a small space - really cosy and stylish, with everything you need. Sara and Dave are the perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome. the village the property is in is really pretty and so much going on with lovely places to eat and drink to.

"A lovely and welcoming accommodation in a beautiful area!"

The hosts were lovely and very welcoming. The accommodation was clean and cosy with some thoughtful touches, games and books to keep you entertained if the weather wasn't so nice, as well as a shoe dryer, thankfully the sun shone for our stay so we were able to enjoy the stunning surroundings. We would definitely recommend staying at The Old Smithy 😊
