It was a fantastic room. I was on my own walking the Camino and this family room was the only one left. I am so glad I took it. The room is very very well furnished, and had absolutely everything you could want, including a kitchenette in the room. I was also able to wash and hang out my clothes. 5 star accommodation.

Very comfortable and unique!After a heavy rain this cozy and heated room was prepared for us by the owner.

We loved our room. Beautifully styled with some gorgeous Portuguese antique pieces. Comfy bed. Well equipped kitchen for small meals. Location was great for what we wanted to do. Zambujal is an amazing rural farming village. Walking little bits of the camino de Santiago was lovely and exploring the villages, farming land and local communities was so enjoyable. We even got to like the church bells telling us the time. Thank you so much for this opportunity.

Our room was adjacent to the owners kitchen. And when exhaust fan over cooktop was used, it was a bit noisy in our room. There was an occasional smell from cooking. Opening windows helped with this. Being an eco friendly house, be prepared for no toilet paper flushed.

The host is very kind. Gave us a souvenir of 2 keyrings and let us use his washer and dryer for a very small fee

The property was formerly ruins rebuilt by the owner. It has a very traditional Portuguese look. It is a stone building with beautifully laid stone pathways.

Beautiful place with a very nice owner. We only stayed for one night but were very happy with everything. Very cozy interior. We could comfortably wind down after a morning of hiking.

A minor disadvantage, but something to be aware of nevertheless. As the place is ecofriendly and reuses the waste water to water the garden, the guests can't flush the toilet paper. We were not totally comfortable with putting the TP in the bin. It was OK for one night, but during a longer stay that might get a bit unpleasant. On the other hand, we appreciate that the owner wants to be environmentally responsible and friendly.

It’s a charming little apartment, the hosts were very generous, they let us use their oven to make our dinner. We were invited to use their pool & outdoor lounging area. Overall 10/10. I would highly recommend Sergio’s establishment.
