"A first-class "ah!" experience!"

Everything was first-class: decor, ambiance, service, comfort, amenities, and food. Little touches like the cut-crystal glasses in the bedrooms and the before-dinner canapes turned a pleasant stay into an elegant experience that more than satisfied all the senses.

I didn't like that my schedule didn't allow me to stay longer.

"A gorgeous country house that I look forward to returning to in the future."

The house is set in beautiful grounds, is impeccably furnished and decorated throughout and our room (Butler) was cosy, quiet and comfortable. The staff were welcoming, friendly yet professional and made sure we had everything we needed.

"A beautiful venue with food to die for but ruined by the aforementioned air fresheners."

Ambience when you walked in. Staff were very accommodating. Food was excellent.

The obsessional use of plugin "air fresheners", I have greater respect for my lungs than to fill them with man made chemicals unnecessarily let alone pay for the privilege, this one aspect would deter me from revisiting what is a beautiful venue.

The drawing room - very nice and tastefully furnished

The room we had - Major was a little small but when we booked it was a choice of 2 rooms left and it did state small double.

Everything was amazing. Our room, the Caroline, was beautiful. The proprietors have thought of everything. Some homemade little treats waiting for us to accompany our in room tea & coffee. Cocktail hour before dinner with delicious canapés, then the Michelan like 3 course dinner was outstanding. We couldn’t fault this property.

The weather… but that’s out of everyone’s control, isn’t it.

A beautiful country house set back from the road at the end of a tree lined drive. Every part of the house reflected the quality and love that has been poured into the property by the owners.

Truly, there wasn’t any aspect that we didn’t like about the property.

"Engagement get away x"

Our roll top Bath was amazing! The bed was also very comfy....the room was very elegant and relaxing. We ate in the gun room on one of the nights as a special occasion, as we were celebrating our engagement from the day before. The food was fabulous.
