Lovely place, nice room and very good restaurant. Very friendly staff and food quality is very high.

Not really a dislike, but it is off the beaten path a little. But that’s what makes it the type of property it is. Room we had did not have a proper shower although had a shower head in the bath. Not got any real dislikes.

Beautiful location. Beautifully decorated, fantastic breakfast.

There is an open toilet arrangement (no privacy) and the shower didn’t drain so it flooded the toilet area, as there was a gap between screen bottom and floor. Despite it only being 21 degs outside, it was stifling hot inside, even after leaving the room door and large, floor to ceiling, velux window open for most of the night. And finally the velux window at the toilet/shower area has no blind which leaves in the daylight so it was bright in the room at 04:30. We stayed in the pheasant room so you might want to avoid that one.

Restaurant right up there with the best food kent has to offer. Tastefully done luxury accommodation in period buildings. Charming estate setting.

Sadly two couples with locus cars stayed and we was ignored like we didn't have enough money.

The setting was amazing, in the middle of nowhere, so peaceful. The staff were lovely, friendly, funny and helpful. Our room/suite was just stunning. The food at dinner & breakfast was exceptional.

For the price of the nights stay, we think breakfast could have been included in the price and the room could have done with a hair dryer.
