"Nice relaxing stay for a few nights."

Breakfast and dinner were very good, all day coffee bar available. Good social friendly bar. Staff and hosts very good. Excellent mountain views. Some easy walking trails within the property grounds. Very spacious lounges and garden to relax in.

Gravel access road from the main tar road is in very bad condition and doesn't encourage you to venture to surrounding areas by car. Probably suited more for hikers into the nearby mountains.

The hosts are very warm and welcoming. Made us feel very comfortable

The approach is the worst. 11kms of gravel road approach spoiled the whole experience. My car needs servicing and possibly net set of tyres. I will never drive down there again.

"A memorable experience as a first hotel we chose to stay in the Drakensberg Mountains. Beautiful view and a nice short"

The beautiful view from in front of the hotel is stunning.

One of the hiking trails was blocked by a falling tree and bushes one week ago which was reported by a couple of guests to the Hotel management who didn’t take care of, this gave us some trouble when we got there. A bit of scary experience in the forest and the later on climbing up the cliff!
