Neels Cottage

The host was very friendly and gave us many tips for our visit to the area. He was there to meet us on our arrival. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the bookshelf is a delight for readers. It was lovely to have hot water bottles for the cold nights and also the provision of good lighting for loadshedding. The location is perfect for discovering the area. Highly recommended.

We were met by a delightful gentleman who was our host. Very knowledgeable and hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He really took our needs into consideration and spoilt us with a local tour which was a real highlight of our trip. We met his lovely wife at the end of our trip and she was lovely too. Kitchen was well equipped with even a smoothie maker, coffee plunger, ice and cold water, rusks, spices all available. Lots of candles and lights for long load-shedding. Good wifi which worked during load-shedding. We would love to come again.

Directions to the farm could have been more explicit to make us feel more confident in finding it. Some of the decoration is of a personal nature which some guests might not enjoy such as personal photographs. But it was like visiting a family members farm with character and charm.
