Neels Cottage

Very quiet and beautiful. Although we were working, it felt like we were on holiday!

Extremely well fitted out cottage in a very quiet and beautiful environment. Kids want to make it an annual family event! ;)

The owner and his wife were great. Very helpfull. If you want to have a quiet weekend is this the place. The view was great. Cant complain about it.

We booked, at the cottage, afterwards they came back and said that if we dont want to share we must pay dubble. We did that, but i dont think it is fair. They must advertise that it is a shared kitchen. They also dont say that it is about 34km out of town. If we knew it we wouldn't book there

The hosts were really nice, helped us with everything and gave us advice for hiking/climbing/food etc. The common kitchen is fully equiped and with a lovely view, there is also a fireplace to use. Location is peaceful and quiet, nice garden. The host even lent us crashpads for bouldering. Would 100% recommend visiting.

It felt like a home away from home, with every effort made to make us feel welcome. Biggest bonus was that we could take our large dog along; and there are a myriad of lovely walks from the doorstep

Not much, we shared the cottage with another couple, they were lovely though something to note if you’re seeking complete privacy

The location is beautiful and owner was friendly.

Not clear anywhere that we would be sharing self catering facilities with other patrons. The private bathroom is not so private as it is open to the rest of the house. The one bed was at the entrance to the room and privacy was an issue everytime we opened the door.

This was the most well equiped cottage we have ever stayed at. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Lovely walks on the farm - good for the soul! We shared the cottage with some awesome people who are sure to be friends. Loadshedding was accommodated for by lighes and rechargeable globes. Will definitely recommend !
