Stone Paradise Homestay

We (family of 4) had a fantastic 2 night stay. Great host family that made us feel very welcome. Hieu provided lots of suggested activities (including self guided treks). On leaving, our whole family said they would definitely stay here on returning to Sapa. Highly recommended.

Awesome family, you should do the family dinners with his family and tea afterwards by the fireplace. They made me feel at home. Great walking location near Cat Cat village but far enough away to enjoy the peacefullness of the area.

The place is run by a lovely family: you can spent some time and get to know them, have family dinner together. The room we took was very spacious and supposedly when the sky is clear you can see beautiful surroundings and mountains from the windows going into three directions. We weren't lucky with the weather and we saw just fog and rain, but the atmosphere was great, so I recommend it for the experience itself. Breakfasts are really good and hosts help you arrange all you need (transportation, scooter rental, tons of tips regarding the area).

Nothing to complain about. One thing to bear in mind is that if you take the biggest room on the upper floor, the bathroom is outside (~5 meters from the room), but it is not a big issue as there is no other room on that floor to share the bathroom with.

Hieu and his family made our stay extra special and authentic. All the family were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The home cooked food was exceptional, it was a pleasure to dine with the family on all evenings during our stay. The location is perfect, close enough to Sapa but also far enough away avoiding the crowds and noise. The view from the roof terrace is beautiful, we would highly recommend having breakfast there. We are already missing playing Uno with the family after dinner on evening.

Wir hatten das Homestay bewusst ausgewählt, da es leicht abseits vom Haupttouristen-Trubel in Sapa liegt. Die Familie ist der perfekte Gastgeber. Hieu kann quasi jeden Wunsch bzgl. Trekking- oder Motorbikeroute erfüllen, unterstützt bei der Buchung von Taxifahrten oder Tickets, sowie der Abholung vom Busbahnhof sowie bei kulinarischen Fragestellungen. Das Abendessen in der Familie ist ein weiteres Highlight, genauso wie das Frühstück auf der wunderschönen Terrasse.

Wir können uns nicht beschweren - Und wir Deutschen finden normal immer etwas, was uns stört. 😁

Very friendly family with a lot of ideas for how to spend your days in sapa. Nice clean and warm Rooms. I would recommend joining the family dinner - delicious food.

Der bisher tollste Gastgeber den ich hatte. Er hat mit endlos viel Infos und Tourideen geholfen die perfekte Tagesgestaltung zu finden. Das Haus liegt etwa 10 minuten vom Stadtkern entfernt leicht abgelegen. Mit dem Taxi oder Mopped aber kein Problem Die Zimmer sind offensichtlich sehr viel selbst gebaut und nicht super fancy. Alles funktioniert. Die Aussicht beim frühstück und leckeren Kaffee ist traumhaft. Am letzten Tag hatten wir unsere Taschen bei ihm stehen lassen um später den Nachtbus zu nehmen. Er hat uns die Taschen kostenlos zum Bus gefahren als das Taxi was sie eigentlich abholen sollte nicht konnte.
