St. Anna's House

Location

The air conditioning was inserted into part of the window, so while effective, it was very noisy, be aware that in hot weather it will take some time to cool the room before being able to turn it off to sleep. It was very difficult to get a warm shower, it was either very hot or cold, so the thermostatic valve adjusting the balance of hot and cold may need fixing.

Very nice countryside. Very close to kings canyon and sequoia national park. Very silent and peaceful location.

Too old. It needs a full refurbishment.

It was a lovely quiet area out in the hills. There were chickens, cats, mountains, trees, - very peaceful. Our beds were comfortable and the room had a working fridge and microwave. The walk in shower was big. The kitchenette was stocked with china, silver, bowls, cups, mugs, and wine glasses. The A/C and TV worked. The self check in was easy.

The cabin was tiny and difficult to move around in, but we managed. The driveway is a bit rutted.

Gave me a pillow that was urinated on. Replaced said pillow with another dirty one. Had roaches. Fire alarm improperly installed.

A great little place to stay.. very rustic and cute but also clean and functional.

Location, easy check-in, timely communication from the host, kitchen with a good coffee maker, and utensils for us to use were a huge bonus; the room was pretty clean, and parking was a breeze right in the front, and good value for money considering the location and we stayed during the Memorial Day weekend

We stayed in the Sequoia room, so my opinion is purely based on our experience. I'm deducting a point for a couple of items: one of the queen beds was bouncy and uncomfortable to sleep on (it felt like one of those old box springs that need replacing). The bathroom also had no body wash. I'm sure they would have filled it if we had requested, but we were in a hurry to leave the next morning to head to the park. Besides these, our stay was

This place is very charming and conveniently located close to the NP. The check in was extremely easy and the room well equipped. Cleanliness was ok. Would recommend to anyone visiting Sequoia or Kings Canyon!

Generally clean but the presence of long hair on our towels and some open eye drops from previous guests I suppose.
