Extremely well kept and very clean historic house. Our room was big and very comfortable, the staff were very friendly and made us feel at home and the breakfast was excellent

"Cosy room which is great value for money"

The building is lovely and car parking was ample. It was the perfect location for what we needed on a road trip. Plenty of tea and coffee, which was great. Loads of breakfast options and the full English was very well prepared & delicious. The dogs are lovely too!!

We received a very unfriendly reception when the owner believed we didn’t have a booking. When she realised her mistake she was apologetic, however she had been unnecessarily rude to us and unfortunately it did start the stay on a bad note. The single bed in the family room is uncomfortable as there is a huge dip in the middle of it. The towels could also do with replacing.
