What a beautiful one of a kind respite in the Algarve. We couldn’t have stayed in a more beautiful, serene natural setting. Laurant was so kind and available to us helping with all questions and needs.

The location was very relaxing, breakfast was lovely & the facility's were excellent. Laurent & Alexia made us feel very welcome & were on hand for any questions and advice.

Casa Flor de Sal is quite simply an amazing place to stay. The only worry we had here was that our next stop - unfortunately they were fully booked out for the 2nd week of our vacation - would face the very tall order of not feeling like a downgrade in comparison. Laurent and Alexia are lovely people, very approachable and always just a quick WhatsApp message away, providing great tips for beaches or activities nearby. They also run a group chat with all the guests, where they announce some planned activities like boat tours or dolphin watching trips, for those interested to join. We gladly joined the one communal dinner per week to mingle more with some other guests, which were also lovely. Nothing feels forced, it’s all very laid-back and uncomplicated. The guest houses are clean and cozy and nicely furnished for self-catering needs. A quick trip to a supermarket nearby is advised on arrival, but you’ll also find some basics in the self-service store on property, which is open around the clock. There’s also a washer & dryer which they let you use for free. We certainly didn’t miss anything during our stay. The property itself is quiet and serene and surrounded by a lush garden with pomegranates and figs ripe for the picking. A stork family is welcoming the guests, or bidding them farewell, from atop their nest towering over the entrance. There’s two pools and a natural swimming pond if you care to swim among real goldfish for a change. Venturing out from the property, the beautiful, almost alien in parts, landscape of the Ria Formosa national park lies within walking distance. Many restaurants and beaches are within driving distance of 30min or less. So many, in fact, that I feel we could‘ve easily stayed a few weeks more w/o ever getting bored. In closing, Casa Flor the Sal is a place we already missed the moment we had to leave. It comes with our highest recommendation. Thank you Laurent, Alexia and team for a great week of relaxation.

wonderful having breakfast delivered to our door every morning. the oranges were delicious and we drank freshly squeezed orange juice everyday.the housekeeping was excellent too you could choose each day to have a lot, a little, or none at all. they even cleaned the bbq each house has a private garden and a roof terrace with table chairs and sun loungers. we drank our coffee there each morning looking at the beautiful view over the ria formosa and the sea. laurent and alexia couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. while not intruding they were there when needed the grounds are extensive with lots of play areas for children plus 2 swimming pools,one for adults only. this is a place we would definely recommend

Great owners with a lot of tips, very helpful. We loved the facilities and surrondings. The apartments are all nice, our kids loved the pools, the playground, just everything. We hope to come back soon!

all was great

everything about this stay was perfect: attention to details, kindness of the owners, best kids place I have ever stayed in. A real « home away from home”. The pool has a shallow end for kids, the mère is a football/basketball field on the grounds, pools table, swing, sand pit.. A small shop is located on the hotel’s premises for your urgent shopping. The construction site doesn’t bother at all. We are already dreaming of coming back next year!
