Casa Flor de Sal

From start to finish we had a great time here. We had a lovely warm welcome from August who made us feel at home straight away. We have two young children and it was perfect, they absolutely loved the pool, but also the other facilities including the trampoline, table football, swings. It’s also has loads of wildlife, we saw a staple regularly, but also bats in the evening, occasional small lizard and loads of interesting birds varieties. We also borrowed the bikes which were free, our six year old daughter on a child’s bike and our two year old on the baby seat. Half an hours bike ride through the wetlands to the local beach. The self catering facilities where also good, with an outdoor bbq also provided. But what makes this place great is the attention to details, a fridge with all the necessities for your arrival, a local ‘shop’ and ‘bar’ with basics available, based on an honour system. Fresh bread and organs juice delivered to your door each morning, a baby towel given to us for the little one. Beach umbrellas available to borrow. Well thought out and a fantastic stay. worth taking some mosquito spray, it’s not a big problem but it’s next to wetlands so naturally it has a few around.
