Cleavers Lyng 16th Century Country House

Cleavers Lyng is een prachtig huis in een mooie landelijke omgeving. Mijn vrouw had roerei met gerookte zalm voor het ontbijt en ik had een full English breakfast. Voortreffelijk. Ik heb onze gastvrouw gevraagd of ze een Michelin-ster had.

Excellent breakfasts with wide and varied options. Ample, secure parking facilities. Sally our host is warm and welcoming. Our en-suite room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and furnishings. High quality tea and coffee tray provided. Everything was perfect during our 4 day stay. Highly recommended.

The place is picturesque and located near lots of public footpaths for those who like hiking. It's also in close proximity to a castle. The rooms are amazing! Spacious,.comfortable,.and with every amenity you could want. The staff are very nice and provide lots of information about the surrounding area.

I tend to like a little more water pressure from the shower, but with these old houses, that can be very difficult to achieve.

Lovely 16th century building on building grounds with views across the hills. Plenty of parking on site. The room was of a good size and well furnished, and equipped with TV and free wifi. The bathroom shower factilities were fab. The breakfast with outstanding with both a continental and cooked breakfast. If you enjoy baked beans, with options for including/excluding items such as mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans, black pudding and fried bread. The hosts are also most welcoming and friendly.
