Pedra Nova

There are places that just feel like home. A cosy place, decorated with love and sophistication, extensive garden with magic spots, trees with history, and salted swimming pool that entertain the kids through the ending evenings. Perfect location, just beside the castle, in the center of one of the most beautiful historic village. The host, Miguel, well, just like the house, simply amazing. Congratulations!

There’s no such things in this property!

One of the best stays for us. The host is very welcoming, meets every guest personally. The house and the garden are very beautiful and made with huge love. Once we arrived we immediately regretted that we had only a few days there. Breakfasts are very good. The pool is excellent with a salty (no chemicals) water.

Not much space for clothing. In our room at least. Maybe it's not the case in others.

Great stay at Pedra Nova! We loved the rehabilitation of the space - everything is very well thought for the comfort of the guests. What took our heart was the pool area: a serene space, great to spend a full day relaxing in the sun beds. We had the option to get a homemade dinner made by our host Miguel and it was super delicious. We'll be going back for sure!

This was the most amazing stay we’ve had on our travels so far. Miguel and Ines are extremely friendly and a truly natural hosts. The house is decorated to such a high standard, and the pool is huge. Miguel and Ines prepared us lovely meals and even catered to my vegetarian diet. We spent such a tranquil few days here, relaxing in the garden and by the pool and exploring the lovely historical village. We also got to see Miguel’s pet donkeys. The house has many private areas to spend time in, and also looks perfect for winter. This stay definitely made a mark on us, we can’t wait to return. Thanks, Lauren and jack.

There is nothing to dislike!

Great hospitality as usual with Miguel and Inês. Pedra Nova has such a friendly and familiar environment, great to spend some relaxing days! either indoors when the weather is less appealing, or outside by the pool when temperatures call for it. The homemade dinners were great too!
