Danny's Rural Suite

Danny's rural suite was our best stay in Madeira. We chose this place for it's close location to Pico Ruivo. The place is only 30-40min drive away from Funchal, the bus stop is right next to the building. The host was really kind and helpful. The appartement is quite big, it is suitable for five people, I think. There was two large beds and one small bed, the kitchen was in the same room, and also there was a private bathroom. Nice view outside the window. In the mornings (in December) it was quite cold, but there were two radiators to warm the room.

Absolutely stunning location with a beautifully appointed flat. The owner's exceptional hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and we loved the invigorating hot shower and well-equipped kitchen. I cannot express how highly I recommend this place

A good place to stop for a few nights in mountain Nuns Valley. Self catering with a washing machine and a great view. Helpful owner with very good communication. This is a traditional hamlet where Madeiran people live so expect an authentic experience.

The neighbours were noisy but the owner has assured me he will speak to them. We still had a good stay and it was good value for what you get.

Excellent. The accommodation is in the center of Madeira, in the highlands. The location is magnificent. I'll try to post a photo. The house is comfortable, spacious, equipped with everything a traveller might need and is well designed. The owner was great and the people in the area are friendly. If I return, I will definitely try to stay here.

Nothing, everything was fine. Parking at the top is difficult, but it is possible to park a bit lower down and walk 40 meters.
