Vila Basi

This was a peaceful time here for me, who love nature and animals. I could spend hours in Kafka with many kinds of book. Riding with bicycle arround the village in early morning was really nice and special. I hope I can discover more or join the tours here next time. Thank you Vila Basi!

Nice and peaceful place to stay outside of Tra Vinh- good location to take rental scooter to rice fields and temples. Staff were very friendly and helpful with scooter rental and bus transport. Good communication via WhatsApp.

Be warned this place is “rustic”. We didn’t mind but don’t expect 5 star.

The place is such huge and greeny, and to have a library there is such precious.

Great location, wonderful property, very friendly staff. I suggest you to order the dinner one day in advance. Food is also great

The villa has a really pretty garden but the rooms are just average.

The bathroom was outdated and rusty.

Nice room, good food and a lovely garden. The library at the end was such a peacefull place. We would have loved to stay longer. 🥰

Great place for budget traveller

Vila Basi is certainly not luxurious but it is exactly as advertised - a series of little bungalows in a lovely garden with lots of fun animals. The staff is fantastic - very helpful. They have excellent bicycles (free) that you can use to get into town and the temple and pond there and they arranged a little tour to the farther away temples. They made us noodle soup for breakfast for a small extra charge. They also arranged onward bus tickets and took us to the bus stop. Highly recommended.
